Suskie Ch. 3: What is GOOD assessment????
The bottom line of this chapter is that if you really want to do good assessment you will do it often and in a number of different ways. It must be ongoing and take into account the learning styles, mental competencies, and atmospherics of students. No assessment is completely accurate. Faculty sharing their assessments/ideas is a good thing....

I think the samples sizes for a 5% error margin needed for populations of a certain size on page 48 might be useful for us -- we will most likely want to use samples for some of our gen ed assessment work.
